Principal Consultant, Office 365 Messaging

Office 365 Messaging (EXO and Teams) Principal Consultant main mandate is to understand the business vision and objectives, collect and document the business processes and technical requirements, and turn them into technical solutions. In association with the various key participants, the consultant will analyze and develop the solutions, as well as participate and supporting them. The responsibility also includes high-level change management as well as supporting PMO in support for various implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be focused Solution Design, Solution Architecture, and Project Delivery & Technical Leadership
  • Be responsible for end-to-end technical guidance, solution development and deployment expertise
  • Participate in pre-sales and solution development activities with the CrucialLogics Partners, including proposal development and presentation
  • Be able to act in a “trusted” advisory and technology expert in an advisory capacity for IT executives
  • Lead and run design workshops and sessions with customers
  • Experienced writing and responding to RFP/RFI/RFQ
  • Must be a self-starter, with strong independent drive and ability to lead, motivate and encourage junior team members
  • Be able to innovate and tailor technology to demonstrate technology solutions to fit business needs
  • Interact with the key participants throughout the entire life cycle of an initiative or a project in order to direct and document needs, and to improve the efficiency of the decision-making
  • Participate in meetings of facilitation and clarification of needs while translating those needs into IT appropriate terminology
  • Encourage the diversity of points of view and opinions between the various business teams as well as the technical teams
  • Represent the technical teams, build and maintain business relationships and partnerships with the internal and external customers
  • Guide and coordinate the overall Office 365 and Microsoft Messaging solution design and expertise
  • Travel 75% (locally to Toronto and as required to other locations in Canada)

Skills and requirements

  • Previous experience in Office 365 and Microsoft Messaging solution designs and migration within large organizations (a must)
  • Resourcefulness, sociability and positive attitude
  • Experienced in working with migration tools and automation
  • 10 + years of experience in Office 365 and Microsoft Messaging solution; Exchange, Lync/Skype and Teams with Enterprise Voice
  • 8+ years of experience In MS Identity and Security solution; Active Directory, ADFS, AADC/MIM, PowerShell and MS Cloud Security (DLP, AIP, Conditional Access, Retention and ATP)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in English – prefer bi-lingual with written/oral French
  • Good understanding and expertise of Cloud infrastructure solutions, such as Azure IaaS/PaaS, Intune, AWS and other cloud providers
  • Additional technical knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 technologies (SharePoint, OneDrive, ProPlus) is preferred
  • University Degree in a related technology field and Microsoft certifications in related field of expertise
  • Proficient ability to use MS Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and related Microsoft productivity tools needed to fulfill requirements of the role
