Microsoft Sentinel is a cloud-native security information and event management (SIEM) solution that empowers enterprises to prevent, detect, and respond to threats across their hybrid environments. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying new features and enhancements for Microsoft Sentinel. You will also collaborate with other team members, service managers, security analysts, and customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience

– 4+ years of experience in cloud computing using Azure, AWS, or similar platforms

– 2+ years of experience in the security domain, such as SIEM, threat intelligence, incident response, or forensics

– 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Sentinel design and deployment

– 2+ years of experience in software development using C#, Java, Python, or similar languages

– Strong knowledge of security best practices, standards, and frameworks

– Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps tools

– Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Required Microsoft Sentinel skills and experience

– Plan and implement a scalable and secure cloud-based security solution using Microsoft Sentinel

– Design and build data connectors, workbooks, analytics rules, playbooks, and incidents

– Configure and customize Microsoft Sentinel to meet the specific needs and goals of the organization

– Monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft Sentinel performance and functionality issues

– Document and communicate best practices and recommendations for Microsoft Sentinel usage and optimization
